And I really like the phone. But on the first morning since purchase I realized that there is some problem with the alarm no the phone. It started almost 5 minutes later than it was set.
Funny thing is my phone came with FW 25 point something and the bug was there. About a week ago I did a FW upgrade and now it is 31.0.008 which is the newest version but the bug is still here.
It's not such a cheap phone to overlook this kind of bugs and Nokia is not some cheap manufacturer to leave this kind of problems unsolved for such a long time.
I would like to hear from you if you have this kind of problems on your Nokia 5800 XM or on some other Nokia. And I would certainly like to know if there is a fix for this bug.

Okay, here's my bug, on my Nokia N95.
ReplyDeleteI set the alarm before I go to bed. I turn the phone off, and got to sleep.
The alarm goes off.
I hit Snooze.
BUT THEN I NEED TO TURN THE PHONE ON!
If I DON'T turn the phone on, the alarm will not go off again, until the phone is turned back on, even if that is 5 hours later...
This is an annoying bug, I like to press snooze and roll over again, not press snooze, turn on phone, input pin, then roll over again...
